The engineers report will typically be a level "B" investigation as described by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers – Texas Section. The engineer will evaluate how the foundation is presently performing and provide an opinion as to why foundation distress has occurred.

The objective of the report is to determine if the foundation is performing its intended and/or designed function  and whether or not any remedial foundation and/or concrete repairs are necessary.  Digital pictures are posted to our website to visually enhance the overall process of the inspection and recommendations.

Hill Structural Engineering performs foundation inspections on all types of foundations including: slab on grade, pier and beam, post and pillar, block and base, suspended pier and beam, suspended slab foundations and post tensioned deck foundations.

Commercial and residential, new construction and homes built in the late 1800s and early 1900s have been inspected by our firm.
